Luka is co-founder, President and CEO of Simbol Mining Corp., a venture backed clean technology company focused on the production of lithium and other metals from brines and effluent streams. Since 2005, Luka represented clients in venture capital and strategic transactions as both an attorney and consultant. His experience includes 11 years of strategic development activities ranging from new business ventures, financings, mergers and acquisitions with companies such as El Paso Corp., CenterPoint Energy, Fluor Daniel and Philip Services Corp.
Luka received his M.B.A. in 2007, graduating as a Jones Scholar, from the Jones School of Management at Rice University. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Houston Law Center, a J.D. fromSouth Texas College of Law, a Bachelors in Marketing from the University of Guelph, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
